New bus drivers at RLCC

Getting up early each weekday and heading to the bus garage to warm up the busses takes dedication. This year Red Lake County Central has two new bus drivers bringing students to and from school each day. They are Matt Kehn and Gary Chaput.

Matt Kehn

Red Lake County Central welcomes new staff member Matt Kehn. He will be driving bus for the students of RLCC and also have the responsibility of dishwashing in the kitchen at the Elementary School in Plummer. Kehn is looking forward to watching the next generation of kids go to school and graduate.

Kehn graduated from RLCC in 2014. In his free time he likes to go for drives and anything else to do with the outdoors. He loves all foods except for mushrooms.

Gary Chaput

Gary Chaput is a new bus driver at Red Lake Country Central. He will be driving the Trail route which is 60 miles. Before coming to RLCC, Chaput drove bus in Win-E-Mac and Fosston school districts for five years. He previously worked at Silgan in Savage, MN. Chaput is single and has one son and two daughters. Chaput interests are boating, fishing, and wildfire watching. He enjoys soup that he makes his own way.
