NELL: Renewing our Land and Power Source

Join David & Alethea as they share how they transformed their farm into renewable energy over several years, covering system construction, maintenance, and multi-land-use. Discover how renewable energy can contribute to a sustainable future.

The pair will share the basics of solar energy from their own experience from installing their system.

David Bainbridge is a software engineer who has been working with solar for over 25 years, including complete installation of his own system.  His wife, Alethea Kenney is a traditional naturopath and herbalist who wears many hats, all of them spun from the fibers off her own animals, including sheep and dogs.  Between them they run Reedbird Farm, a sustainable, ecofriendly fiber farm north of Itasca State Park."
