Memorial Day program planned

Gonvick American Legion and Auxiliary Post #304 will be honoring local area veterans on Memorial Day. The program is on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Gonvick American Legion building. Giving the address for the service will be Doug Faldet, with the Air Force, National Air Guard.
Prayers will be given by Tippy Berg. Tribute to all “Gold Star Families” will be read by Fay Bjerke. Darlene Sawyer will give a reading “Golden Land of Liberty”, Louise Sundquist will read “In Flander’s Fields” and Jean Sundquist “Freedom in America”.
Music will be provided by Terri Godtland. The reading of the deceased veterans will be by LeRoy Sundquist, Legion Commander.
Please join them and share in the service to honor all veterans. Coffee and doughnuts will be served following the Memorial Service, compliments of the Gonvick American Legion Auxiliary.
Clearbrook
Clearbrook American Legion and Auxiliary will be honoring local area veterans on Memorial Day. The program is on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Clearbrook Community Center. A special invitation is given to veterans who did not serve during World War II, Korean War or the Vietnam War in order to be recognized during this year’s program. For recognition please provide information on your years of military service and branch to Corrinne Anderson, Auxiliary President at 776-3718 by Friday, May 25, 2018. Guest speaker for the service will be retired Lieutenant Colonel Jeff Melander from Gully. Many musical selections will be presented. Please join us as we honor all veterans.
