Kiesow and Nelson place at the Trap Shooting Championships

Grygla’s Trap Team had a successful competition at the Trap Shooting Championship in Alexandria, MN, last Tuesday, June 14th. The team is coached by Shannon Nelson and is made up of Jared Haack, Lucian Tinnes, Dustin Nelson, Matt Aune and Jaden Kiesow. The league started on April 3rd with 2 weeks of practice, and the competitions started on April 24th, where the participants shot 2 rounds of 25 clays each week.

At the state championship in Alexandria, around 810 kids were participating! Jaden Kiesow was awarded 1st place ‘Seasonal Average Male’ in his Class 1A Conference 1 and overall high average in his conference. He also received 2nd place ‘High Gun Male’ at the state shooting championship with 97 out of 100! Fellow teammate, Dustin Nelson, was awarded 3rd place ‘Seasonal Average Male’ in the conference.
