Their mission is to advocate for education professionals and to unite members across the nation to fulfill the promise of public education to prepare every student to succeed in a diverse and interdependent world.
The National Leadership Summit focuses on, develops and prepares the next generation of leaders with knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to lead in their professions.
Sundberg recently found out that she had been nominated by Education Minnesota Field Representative Kevin Young. She expressed her gratitude on being selected, “I am so honored to not only be chosen to attend this summit, but also to represent our community and bring the Grygla School to such an important event.” Abby is looking forward to the learning and training experience in a few months where educators from all across the state and nation will gather and network.
Superintendent Jamie Lunsetter expressed, “We are so proud that Mrs. Sundberg has been chosen for this honor. It’s a great accolade for her, our school and our community. She will definitely make the most of this great opportunity and will represent us with dignity and character as she always does!”
