The Great Pumpkin by Bryson Fiedler

Fall is in the air and this big pumpkin proves it! Bryson Fiedler, son of Brady & Bridget Fiedler, Goodridge, MN, had an impressive pumpkin patch this year which included this giant! Any guesses on what it weighs? Bryson took part in Pumpkin Days in Gonvick last weekend. He got 2nd place and “Best in Show” with this 609 lb. pumpkin!

Last year was Bryson’s first year growing pumpkins. He got to compete with his great uncle Allan, who passed away last spring. Last fall’s contest had Bryson taking 8th in weight and Allen taking 9th, but “Best in Show” going to Allen. Well, this year that “Best in Show” title was extra special for Bryson who said, “This one’s for Uncle Allen.” Photos     courtesy of Bridget Fiedler
