Gonvick Lions 36th Annual Rodeo

The Gonvick Lions put on their 36th annual rodeo on Friday and Saturday July 10 and 11.  

The temperature was high but spirits were higher.

The Grand Marshalls of the Lions parade were Pastor Will and his wife Sue from Samhold Lutheran church in Gonvick.

Dan Sundquist annnounced the parade participants. That was his sixth year of helping.

Four Lions members were honored for their hard work at many rodeos. They included Lucy Thompson, Dan Johnson, Cody Rude and Kevin Reich.

The announcer this year was Trey Windhorst from Popular Bluff, MO. He had not been back for four years. It was great to have him back.

The Gonvick Lions want to thank all their sponsors for helping them put on the event.
