"Garfield Lake Ice Racers Celebrate 2026 Season"

The Garfield Lake Ice Racers 2026 season came to a grand finally on Saturday night with the 2026 Awards Banquet held at the Woodshed in Laporte, Mn.   The club enjoyed a full racing season of eight Sunday's of racing in the Beginning Class and Main classes.

    The club in 2025 donated nearly $100,000.00 to local charities, schools, veteran groups and individuals in need.  The banquet celebrated with many door prizes given out and a taco bar provided by the Woodshed.

     Special Awards were presented to Rookie of the Year Quintyn Karl and the Hard Luck Award to the Weeks brothers.  A special award was also presented to Sam Delaney for the "Hottest Car".
