Fire destroys Longtin's shed in Oklee

On Friday morning, before 8  o'clock in the morning, the fire whistle blew. A fire  was discovered at the shed of Delores Longtin residence.
Oklee volunteer firemen responded quickly but it had been burning for a while and was considered a total loss.
The north end of the shed held lawn equipment, which may be salvaged.
Longtin was unable to make the call to 911 because the telephone services were not working due to the fire. A neighbor called in the fire.
After the fire was out, phone, electrical and propane were re-established to the Longtin home.
No official report has been made at this time, but it is thought to be started by an electrical problem. No reports of injury have been received.
