Charger reserves got some very valuable playoff experience late in the 3rd quarter & also helped out the health of the team. Coach’s comments: Hail Mary pass defeats Chargers with no time left. The Charger’s football team lost their bid to compete for the Section Championship in the final seconds, 22-18. The Chargers led 18-0 early in the 3rd quarter. We watched the Gators scratch back into the game. For a final desperation play, Kobey Dallager threw a 58-yard touchdown pass to Zach Blawat. It tipped off his hands and fell into Gator wide receiver Jaxon Janousek for the game winning touchdown.
Our boys did everything we could ask of them. I am very proud of how we battled and controlled the game except for three plays. How heartbreaking for all of us. The football gods were not with us Hallows Eve.
