Brooks Travel Plaza Grand Opening & Customer Appreciation

On August 26th, the new Brooks Travel Plaza will be holding a Grand Opening. A Grand Opening ribbon cutting will be held at 10:30 and then at 11 p.m. to 2 p.m. the public is welcome to come and enjoy a pulled pork meal, ice cream, coffee. There will be drawing all day and F’real specials.
The Brooks Travel Plaza opened on December 1st at the junction of State Highway 59 & 92. The Brooks Travel Plaza was built where Third Base stood for many years, serving the community.
Business has been brisk and lots of truck traffic. The large parking lot gives large vehicles and semi’s ample room to enter and exit the premises and there is two fueling areas, one for large trucks & semi’s and one for the general public. They offer #1, #2, Road Master and DEF fuels.
Inside, is a convenience store offering the basics of grocery items, hardware & auto items, plus a full deli serving up Coopers Chicken, Tecos Taco’s, Deli Max pizza, subs, salads, and much more.
A wall full of beverages and an area with malts & coffee. A dining area for people to enjoy a meal, enjoy a coffee or just visit for a few minutes. And the new Cenex also include an off-sale.
Don’t forget to visit your other local Cenex Stations in the coming week for their individual Customer Appreciation Days. Oklee’s Cenex will be having their event on Monday, August 24th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come enjoy a BBQ meal, ice cream and sign up door prizes.
On Tuesday, August 25th, McIntosh will be holding their Customer Appreciation from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will also be serving a BBQ meal, ice cream and have drawings.
Then on Thursday, August 27th, Red Lake Falls will hold their Customer Appreciation from 4 to 7 p.m. with door prizes, BBQ meal, and ice cream.
