53rd annual Moonlighters Sno Safari was held on January 25th

With perfect weather the 53nd Annual Oklee Moonlighters Snowmobile Safari was held on January 25th. Due to two storms that came through the area leaving more than sufficient snow and the mild 20 degree temperatures, the riders couldn't have asked for better conditions for a Safari.
A perfect day for a Safari ride around the area for everyone in the family.
It was hard to get an accurate count of sleds but the closest estimate was around 50 sleds were lined up outside TJ's Tavern.
The riders gathered at TJ's Tavern in Oklee before heading out for the trail ride. They left at 1 p.m. and were back before 6 p.m.
Following the ride, there were drawings for door prizes and at 8 p.m. the band "Odd Man In" played at TJ's for a night of music and fun.
