4-H Share the Fun Performance
The Annual Red Lake County 4-H Share the Fun performance were held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Lafayette High School Robert Matzke Gymnasium. The 4-H Clubs performing their skits were: Happy Go Lucky 4-H Club (4-H Leader, Carol Culkins) with their skit called “School Daze.” The Huot Hustlers 4-H Club (4-H Leader, Pam Columbus) with “If I Weren’t a 4-H Member,” and the Garnes Go Getters 4-H Club (4-H Leader, Kim Olson and Co-Leaders Jen Srnsky and Melanie Hanson) with their skit “Our Friend Milk.”
The Red Lake County 4-H Ambassadors were the emcees for the evening. They led the audience in games and prizes throughout the evening. In between the skits we also had the 4-H Performing Art Participants. They included: Hallie Harmoning (piano); Kendra Rondorf (flute); Emma Knott (dance); Sarah Quick (piano); Grace Harmonig (Solo); Jacob Solie (violin) and Jacob Harmoning (piano). They will each receive $10 from the Red Lake County 4-H Leader’s Council.
Red Lake County can send two skits/acts down to the Minnesota State Fair.
First place went to the Huot Hustlers 4-H Club with their skit on “If I Weren’t A 4-H Member,” second place went to Happy Go Lucky 4-H Club with their skit “School Daze,”and alternate place went to Garnes Go Getters 4-H Club with their skit, “Our Friend Milk.”
All of the 4-H members who participate in their club skit receive ribbons. Great job to all the 4-H Members! After the performances, everyone enjoyed bars, juice and coffee.
