It has been cool and threatening rain. We need rain and all week there were forecasts of rain. We got none or rather close to none. Some got a bit more than us but the dust dried out really quickly after the tenth that we got. The garden and yard is showing its thirst in dried up plants and dry grass. It helps with the mowing jobs, but I’d rather mow. I like green. Now they are predicting hot and muggy over the end of this week. That is kind of natural during fair week.
Karen Tvedt, Anne Traxler, Bunny DuChamp, Anna De- Hate, and Alice Jobe went to the Bite Me Grill for lunch (at the American Legion). Kristie Hesse, the cook, had the first day for lunch.
