Pastor Wright installed in two area churches

Pastor Michael Wright was installed as the new pastor at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Clearbrook and Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Leonard on Sunday, August 11.
Pastor Genelle Netland, who is an Associate to the Bishop in the North West Minnesota Synod in Moorhead was to give the sermon and do the installation of Pastor Wright. She had served Calvary Lutheran Church in Bemidji for 20 years before her new duties with the synod. Circumstances were not to be as the Pastors son had been in an early morning accident and she was not able to make it.
An early morning call on Sunday to Pastor Mark Olson from Faith Lutheran Church in Bagley was arranged. He then had to get someone to fill his pulpit time in Bagley.
The installation went off without a hit with Potluck being held at Leonard after the installation at that church.
