Grygla Senior, Emilie Tykward, received a superior rating on a drawing and two excellent ratings on paintings.

Grygla Junior, Kelly Dougherty, received three superiors in drawing, painting and printmaking. Kelly’s drawing, Isolation, was chosen as Best of Show in the drawing category. She also was given the Spotlight on the Arts award.

Grygla Junior, Samantha Kraulik, received four superior ratings in craft, printmaking, and two in drawing. Samantha’s print, Sahara Soul, was named Best of Show in the printmaking category. She also was given the Spotlight on the Arts award.

Grygla Freshman, Trystan Jelle, received two superiors in mixed media and printmaking.

Grygla students participated in the Minnesota State High School League Visual Arts Festival, which was held in Fosston on March 25th. Grygla Art Teacher, Betsy Saurdff, said the students did very well!
