McKeever scores the Region 8A AAA Award

Madison McKeever was named the Region 8A Triple “A” Award winner at a luncheon held in Mahnomen on February 10th.  Previously Madison was named the Sub-Section 30 Triple “A” Award winner.  

In the 28 years that the Minnesota State High School League has been sponsoring this award Madison is the third Win-E-Mac student to receive this presigious award  “The Triple “A” Award is one of the most coveted awards presented to students in Minnesota,” said Jody Redman, associate director of the Minnesota State High School League. “Since its inception in 1988, over 11,000 students have represented their school in the Triple “A” program.” There are a total of 32 students who have reached the final round of this competition. Four students will be named the 2016 Minnesota State Triple “A” Award Winners.  Each of the four students will receive a four-year $1,000 scholarship from the Minnesota State High School League.The 28th Annual Academics, Arts and Athletics Award Banquet will be held during the Minnesota State Boy’s Basketball Tournament in March.  Madison, her parents and representatives from the Win-E-Mac School will be invited to the banquet and awards ceremony
