Carol’s Cozy Bar & Grill hosting Grand Re-Opening after remodel on August 7th

The Cozy Bar and Grill in Brooks, MN has been updated once again with great new look on the outside and inside, some features which the customer doesn’t see, but it makes the business of providing delicious meals run smoother.  A Grand Re-Opening is planned for August 7th with music by Wild Wes from 8 p.m. to midnight, door prizes and lots of food specials to enjoy.

When you pull up at the Cozy, you will notice that the entire building has been resided and brick accent has been added to the front on the lower half and on the front roof line, steel shingles have been installed. The Cozy has grown larger also with an expansion to the building on the south side. A number of feet have been added to the width of the building allowing the kitchen and cooler sections to be enlarge. With the expansion, the cooler has been made larger with an outside access for deliveries, and an opening near the cooking area for access to ingredients for the cooks. Instead of having 5 freezers, a new walk-in freezer has also been added. And also because the kitchen has been enlarged, a char broiler for steaks & burger and a new 6 burner stove with oven has been installed. The remodeled kitchen was opened on June 5th for full services. 

In the dining area there have been improvements also. The bar has been updated with a new top of copper etched to make an interesting pattern and sealed with polyurethane, new bar stools and the foot rest have been completed. The dance floor has been enlarged and a Salad Bar is now available on weekends. The smaller bar has also been updated with matching bar stools. 

And don’t forget the Cozy also has outdoor seating on its patio, so you can enjoy the fresh air with your meal.

The owner, Carol Connell, is a great asset to the City of Brooks and has made the Cozy a great stop in Brooks whether it is just a visit with friends over drinks and a meal or a place to celebrate special events. 

Even though Covid-19 has affected many business since March, the Cozy has continued to operate and never closed its doors during the shutdown, since she was considered an essential service and served take-out only for many weeks. So remember, if you want a good meal and would prefer to take out, it has always been an option and still is. So Eat In or Take Out.  The choice is yours!!
