Tuesday Study Club presents funds to local groups

The Tuesday Study Club organization is composed of area women who work to give back to their communities. The organization is nearly 100 years old and includes approximately 20 local women.
The Tuesday Study Club local work includes an annual luncheon, Tables for Tots, which helps to raise funds to support the Clearwater Christmas project. They also organize the distribution of gifts and food to local families. In 2023, the Tuesday Study Club held their first annual Driving for Greens golf tournament. The proceeds from this tournament allowed for recent donations to local organizations.
Pictured in the photo are representatives from local groups receiving donations. The 2023-2024 Tuesday Study Club President, Kathryn Lorsbach, distributed the following donations on May 7th: $750 to the Bagley Parent Teacher Organization, $750 to the Clearbrook-Gonvick Playground Fundraiser, $500 to the Clearwater County Food Shelf, $500 to the Bagley Senior Center, and $500 to the Clearbrook Senior Center.
Tuesday Study Club also gives scholarships to young women in both the Bagley and Clearbrook-Gonvick schools who demonstrate leadership, scholarship, character, and community service. This year, the Tuesday Study Club will distribute two $500 scholarships to each school.
This year’s 2nd Annual Driving for Greens Golf Tournament will be held on August 17th at the Twin Pines Golf Course. The Tuesday Study Club is looking forward to another great event to raise funds for organizations in our communities!
