Gonvick Fire Department will be having their Spring Fundraiser.
They will be hosting a great dinner on Saturday May 3rd - 2025 at the Gonvick Fire Hall , from 5:00 to 7:00 PM for those of you that are able to attend.
You can come and talk with the local Volunteer Firefighters. Leave the cooking to them.
This is their yearly Spring Fundraiser. They are in need of Funds for Ongoing Medical/Fire Fighting Training and Upgrading of their Equipment so they can better serve the communities.
They are constantly updating/repairing Firefighting gear, radios, generators, tools, pumps, medical supplies, SCBA, and maintaining the trucks on a regular basis.
They are currently working on two projects. First, they need to put a new roof on the fire hall as the current roof is failing. This is going to cost about $90,000. Second, they are in need of an upgrade to their 1992 Kodiak pumper truck that they use as a rescue truck. To replace this truck, they anticipate a replacement cost of $30,000 - $50,000.
